I really liked this ad too – clean, simple – gets the point across and i guess it really helps that target is red and white.

Oh wow. In the 10-15 times I’ve seen this, it never registered that it was a Target spot. It is so awkward and uncomfortable that I want to look away. Completely anti-Christmas.
