Like a bolt of lightning the F-word shot out from the TV and ricocheted around the living room during the PG movie we were watching with the kids.

Yeah… that… Don’t get me started on week day, evening TV rated PG cuz I’d NEVER be able to stop at 32 words.

When I was about 8 years old, my parents got me a Steve Martin comedy album for Christmas. They had seen him perform on Johnny Carson show and thought he was very funny. Imagine Christmas morning with my grandparents with a live comedy album when I was 8 years old.
I wish I’d understood what was going on then as well as I understand it now.

I was 12 or so when our football team traveled to Orlando to play in a bowl game. All the guys on my team stayed with guys from the other team. Me and another guy stayed with two brothers. That night we stayed up listening to Wild and Crazy Guy. It was crazy. We were such badasses. Side note: the brothers conned my teammate into telling them our teams strengths – which was run the ball. I was the QB. The brothers played defensive guards. On our first play from scrimmage, a dive play off the guard, one of the brothers took my handoff and raced for a touchdown in the opposite direction. The rest of the game played out similarly.
