2022 began with news that I had cancer. It ended up being the best year of my life.

My wife and I recently spent a week in Italy. We were celebrating 25 years of marriage. The trip was everything we wanted.

In 2021, I was diagnosed with cancer. The source of my strength throughout the ordeal was supernatural. Nothing is insignificant.

An upcoming trip to Italy to celebrate life with my best friend has me excited and a little paranoid. But mostly excited. Mostly.

The year was 1980. 16-year-old me just moved from Baton Rouge to Houston. Attended my first MLB game in the 8th Wonder of the World – the Houston Astrodome.
