An upcoming trip to Italy to celebrate life with my best friend has me excited and a little paranoid. But mostly excited. Mostly.

Twenty-five. It’s a big number in a person’s life. And when you’ve been married that long, well, it’s pretty cool.

In December 2021, I was diagnosed with cancer that would have killed me in 2022. The only reason they discovered it was softball.

I recently watched Tick, Tick… Boom! the Netflix movie about the life of Jonathan Larson, the writer of Rent. It moved me to tears.

On December 10, 2021 I was diagnosed with cancer. It turned out to be a moment of clarity and grace.
