I recently watched Tick, Tick… Boom! the Netflix movie about the life of Jonathan Larson, the writer of Rent. It moved me to tears.
A man and woman have sex, and we are brought into the world on a spark of electricity, slapped on the ass, and told that we are unique. And we are. There is no other human being on the planet exactly like us. However, by virtue of being human, we’re not original. And we’re not creative. Believing we’re creative is a deception caused by the ego. Sadly, humans aren’t creative. True creativity can only exist at the ‘divine entity’ level.
